Dear Members, Partners, and Friends,

We are delighted to invite you to an exclusive field trip to China on November 3-9, 2024, as we delve into the vibrant landscape of China's medtech and healthcare industry.

China has become the world’s second largest medical device market with a tremendous growth in the past decade. With an aging population, continuing urbanization and increasing demand of better healthcare, there is no end in sight for this incredible market growth. Swiss companies, reputed for their innovation prowess and top qualities, are well positioned to unlock unparalleled opportunities with their latest technology, quality products and premium services that can meet the demand of the Chinese consumers.

Our comprehensive program goes beyond mere exploration, providing invaluable insights into key market trends and opportunities, while addressing critical aspects of the challenges and pitfalls as well.

Upon your arrival on Sunday in Shanghai, the program will start with a professional two-day forum where healthcare experts, regulators, and executives of multinationals and domestic companies will go in-depth on topics as market access, IP protection, localization strategy, etc.

The program will then follow with the visit to the China International Import Expo (CIIE), where all participating companies will get a standard booth to exhibit their technology, and to meet with potential partners and investors on this prominent state-level exhibition.

Next, the participants will have the opportunity to visit Roche China, and subsequently also to meet with managers of other Swiss SMEs to learn from their experiences in navigating the Chinese healthcare market. Finally, the delegation will head to Changzhou on a 1-hour high-speed train from Shanghai, where a cluster of international medtech companies have set up their factories.

By participating in this enlightening expedition, Swiss companies will not only gain a deeper understanding of the Chinese market but also establish meaningful connections with industry leaders, potential partners, and government stakeholders.

Let's embark on a journey of innovation, collaboration, and boundless growth in one of the world's most promising healthcare markets together. Secure your place today and seize the opportunity to shape the future of healthcare in China while propelling your organization to new heights of success!

This trip is co-organized with the support of Switzerland Global Enterprise, the Swiss-Chinese Chamber of Commerce, Geneva Chamber of Commerce Industry and Services, Microcity, P&TS, China Integrated, BioAlps, and the Swiss-Chinese Association – French Speaking Region.
