Unlike large multinational corporations, SMEs and start-ups face unique challenges in their road of internationalisation: Entering a new market often means higher investment risk, greater entry barriers and more demanding operational requirements.
In response to these challenges, the Swiss Centers China (SCC) was founded in 2000 with the support of the Swiss and Chinese local governments to provide incubation services for Swiss SMEs and start-ups. The mission of SCC is to offer these companies integrated, low-risk and practical solutions for entering the Chinese and Asian markets. Through modulable workshops, office space, one-stop admin, HR, trade and marketing services, and its vast partners and government relations network, SCC strives to offer Swiss SMEs a secure environment for growth.
In 2016, Swiss Center Tianjin (SCT) started operating two new facilities located in Wuqing (workshop space) and Dongli (office space) districts. This means that from this point on, our service to Swiss SMEs and start-ups now extends to the fast-growing Beijing-Tianjin region in the north of China.
